This session will introduce you to these techniques that are in action all around you, even here at BarCamp Jonesboro.

Lee Quessenberry - Get Money Get Paid
Description: Lee Quessenberry, of IrishNInjas, will demonstrate how sole proprietors, photographers, videographers, and any other independent representative can effectively invoice clients with less hassle, less effort, less time, and a lot more results. Over the past few years as a freelancer, Lee has seen many types of businesses arrive at his doorstep wanting various services from graphic design to web development. In each and every case, and understanding is made, and each party is compliant with the details of the agreement. Often times as a representative of your own entity or brand, larger companies often view the freelancer as a non valuable or unimportant asset to their company. This is not, in most cases, intended to be rude or ill mannered by the client, but is moreover just a psychological reaction to a very loosely organized approach. You'd be amazed at what you can do with a few online tools and a written contract! Please join us at BarCamp for a few tips and pointers on how to represent yourself as a freelancer and business owner.

Nathan Reynolds - Anatomy of a Hack: How to Avoid Being Pwn'd

Mitchell Clay & Jennifer Ledbetter - Geocaching

We will be using smart phone apps to browse, discover and share Geocaches. We will also send a BarCamp Jonesboro 2011 Travel bug out into the world!
